Mentally Awake and Morally Straight

Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Oath

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) are under attack. First, law suits that allege child sexual abuse from predatorial men who were in the BSA and then from the predatorial boys who seek entry into the Scouting association. Homosexual men have used the cover of the BSA to prey upon little boys unsuspecting that their leaders who should protect them are actually there to prey upon them. And homosexual boys have been told that they have unrestricted access to the BSA, which opens the door to peer sexual abuse. Why don’t people understand that men who prey upon little boys are homosexual? And who in their right mind thinks that boys who self-declare their homosexuality will keep it to themselves? The hypocrisy is obvious. The Boy Scouts are told they didn’t protect the boys under their care from sexual predators while at the same time they are told to open the door to sexual predators. As the Scouting association fights along two fronts, they must remain mentally awake and morally straight.

BSA History

The Boy Scouts of America began in the early 20th century, more than 100 years ago, as a way to shape boys into men. The Scout Oath is central to the values held by all Scouts throughout the history of the BSA. It reads:

On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Boy Scouts are proud of their heritage to serve God and Country. To do this, they must be vigilant and remain mentally awake and morally straight.

Recently, the Boy Scouts have been required to open their doors to homosexual boys and embrace what is not ‘straight’; the so-called ‘gay’ lifestyle of boy homosexuals. Whereas the boys entering the BSA claiming to be homosexuals (not morally straight) are at risk of child molestation themselves from outside the BSA, they also pose a risk of molesting other boys their age. Although the delinquency of minors is supposed to be illegal, admitting homosexual boys into the Scouting association puts straight boys at risk. That’s what a previous law suit said they were supposed to stop, right?!?

The Boy Scouts of America have recently been subjected to law suits claiming child abuse from men who take advantage of young boys for their sexual pleasure. Get the memo, men are male and boys are male. Male on male sex is homo-sexual, sex between 2 people of the same gender. The abuse that boys have suffered in the BSA have come from people who are homosexual child abusers. Condemning the BSA for what wolves in sheep’s clothing have done and then requiring more wolves into the fold it insane (not mentally awake).

Homosexual Assault

The former head of the BSA was also the former head of the U.S. military as the Secretary of Defense. In both cases, yielding to the homosexual lobby, Bob Gates declared that change was inevitable. Sadly, the only thing inevitable was that Gates opened the flood gates to the homosexual community into groups where they were not allowed. This because they were neither mentally awake or morally straight.

Countless Presidents and Generals and leaders throughout our nation’s history have been Boy Scouts. Boys who grow up to be husbands and fathers have proved their leadership skills learned in the BSA and have been successful in whatever work they do. Even the super heroes in comic books have carried the Boy Scout ethos of doing good to others without taking credit for their good deeds; until recently when the same super heroes were cast with a dark spirit (ex: old vs new Batman). That spirit of darkness seeks to destroy the institution of the BSA via the homosexual invasion of their association (via men and boy homosexuals).

Who do you think homosexuals want to be with? Other men and boys; people of their own gender that they can seduce and practice their sexual immoral behavior (sodomy) with. Given a ready stock of men and boys in the U.S. military and the Boy Scouts, the gates were opened to homosexuals with an appetite to feast upon unsuspecting men and boys.

The militant homosexual lobby was often mentioned in the 1980s and afterwards as the group of people who wanted to undo our nations laws that counted sodomy as criminal and wanted to change societal norms (morality) to accept the homosexual lifestyle. Well, they have been largely successful. Today people are more prone to accept the lifestyle of sexually perverted people out of a false sense of kindness not knowing how depraved their lifestyle really is.

Due to the efforts of the homosexual community, contact tracing was limited with the spread of the HIV virus. The ability to fight this national/global pandemic was limited for political purposes. They didn’t want notable people getting in trouble for their practice of homosexuality so the rules of health agencies were set aside to favor this political lobby. However, we complain today about Covid-19 and how we need contract tracing to limit the spread of the virus but with the political lobby of militant homosexual groups in our nation, the interest of our nation comes second to the interest of this selfish group of ‘gay’ people.

Also, the original name for the HIV virus was changed from ‘gay related immune deficiency syndrome’ (GRIDS) to ‘acquired immune deficiency syndrome’ (AIDS). This was done to shift attention away from the group most likely to acquire and spread the AIDS virus - homosexuals. The media renamed it to provide cover and support for the people who acquire and spread this virus in order to advance the political goals of this lobby.

DNA Deception

It is clear that men in the homosexual community have deceived themselves into thinking that their attraction to people of the same (homo) sex (aka. homo-sexual) and their practice of sodomy are a result of their DNA. While the science behind this belief has already been debunked, it opens the door to further abuse of children within the BSA.

Consider the boys themselves who say they are ‘gay’ that the BSA is supposed to open their doors to. It is obvious that they have been mis-tempered by the homosexual community to believe the lie that they have some right to do what is wrong because it is in their DNA. Boys who say they are ‘gay’ are at risk of child molestation by others outside the BSA (men and boy abusers), of moral delinquency (sodomy and homosexuality are sin), and need to be rescued before they seek further sexual activity that will injure them. Boys who say they are gay have already been abused! We’re not helping them by enabling them!

Further, boys can and do abuse other boys just as men do to men. And men can and do assault boys as many homosexuals have molested little boys. The BSA must remain vigilant to recognize the mental and moral errors of the homosexual community and prevent more children from being molested by homosexuals who have been granted an open door to their ranks.

Moreover, the claims that many make about the nature of a homosexual, that their attraction and appetite for people of the same sex is born of their own DNA suggests that this is true for both men and boys. If one’s DNA determines the lust for male on male sex, then boys who are not declaring themselves gay in the Boy Scouts may be preyed upon by other boys and men who want to bring it out of them. The seduction of children by ‘gay’ boys and men is a problem that needs to be addressed by the BSA as the predators are making a choice to abuse these children. Having homosexuals in the Boy Scouts at any age puts boys at risk of being preyed upon by sexual predators. And I thought we were supposed to put an end to this as the BSA responds to further legal attacks placing the blame for molestation on the BSA and not the assailants themselves.

Lessons from the Church

The Pope has added more confusion to the issue of homosexuality by approving the civil union of ‘gay’ men (and gay women) in sanctioned same sex relationships. The Vicar of Christ has provided sanction not only to the lifestyle of blatant sin but has facilitated the Christ-less Christianity that so many ‘reformed’ churches have already fallen prey to. Whereas the Holy Roman See has seen fit to dismiss the message of Romans chapter 1 where Paul tells us of the depravity of the homosexual lifestyle (they are given over to a reprobate mind), he has abandoned the Gospel of God’s Grace for the forgiveness of sin for those needing it most.

Many pulpits have a message preached where we are to love (accept) one another but in many of these pulpits, they fail to mention the name of Jesus as the focus of God’s Love. The Love of God is the forgiveness of sin that God has given mankind through Jesus Christ; salvation is not found in the acceptance we give to homosexuals. Like so many liberal churches in America, the Papacy has abandoned the Love of God for the love of man. And if Jesus Christ is ever mentioned, it is with respect to His social message and a false application of social justice. Remember when Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more”?

Homosexuality and sodomy (which heterosexuals sometimes practice) is sin! Sin is a choice people make to dismiss God’s will (vaginal intercourse) in favor of their own will (sodomy). The assaults on our nation’s culture and institutions will not end until we take God at His Word. The Bible clearly teaches that sin is a choice and we have a choice to reject sin by choosing to embrace Jesus Christ and His Cross for the forgiveness of sin. The lifestyle and message of homosexuals is antithetical to the message of the gospel. There is no compromise that will result in righteousness.

Solution

Jesus gave us His life in exchange for our sin. We get His righteousness and a new life by believing in Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice on the Cross. All we have to do is believe; and prayer (faith has an action) is how we receive God’s forgiveness of sin, which is God’s love for us. This is our solution.

Homosexuals as human beings have rights but there is no right to do what is wrong; there are no ‘gay rights.’ The wrong of homosexuality is that it is a sin against God and His Will for our life. Argue as one may, there is no DNA forcing us to sin; it is a decision. And the decision to ask Jesus into one’s life for forgiveness of our choices we made contrary to God’s Will leads to a new life: the best decision anyone can make.

On the contrary, believing that we are preprogrammed to live contrary to God’s creative purpose for our sexuality is mental foolishness. Our passions are not our master unless we yield to them, which is a decision. And as one may find they are slaves to sin, Jesus offers us liberty to live a life apart from sin. We have to choose; we have to decide.

The fool who refuses mental awareness and moral straightness will work to pervert others around them to agree with them to cover up a convicting conscience. Further, they will attempt to justify by rationalizations their abandonment of morality, which is irrational. The Boy Scout Oath says it best,

On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

All boys in the BSA should learn what it means to be mentally awake and morally straight. teaching the truth about relationships includes the reality that same sex relationships are normal; we call them friendships. Adding sex to the mix, however, is mentally and morally perverted. And any time a boy who claims to be gay is admitted into the BSA, they should be led to a lifestyle of mental and moral straightness by faith in a loving God who forgives our sins. These boys need to be rescued not enabled.

Prayer:

God in heaven, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that your son Jesus died on the cross for my sins. I acknowledge that I have chosen to sin in my life for which I’m sorry. I ask you to forgive me for what I’ve done, not by my good works or any promise I can make, but based upon the good work of Jesus on the Cross who paid for the penalty of my sins. Please forgive me, cleanse me, and give me a right mind to do those things that are pleasing to you. I surrender my life to you and choose to live by the leadership of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!
