The Federal Government is preparing to force vaccinations on all employees regardless of their personal decisions concerning their own healthcare needs. This act of the government at the national (aka Federal) level is a violation on many planes. It isn’t Constitutionally based, it isn’t medically required, it violates previous guidance by the DoD, and it violates individual liberties.
Failure to Follow the Constitution
The U.S. Constitution is a prescription of powers and authorities given to the Federal Government that is meant to lend health to our nation’s body politic; failing the prescription (the Constitution) makes us sick as a nation. The Bill of Rights represents proscriptive (limited) powers that limits the powers of the Federal Government. As such, the 10th Amendment in the Bill of Rights says that only those powers enumerated in the Constitution are the powers the Federal Government can exercise. And there is nothing in the body of the Constitution that prescribes Federal oversight of our nation’s healthcare needs.
Further, the same 10th Amendment says that those powers not belonging to the Federal Government belongs to the States and the People respectively. Here is the actual language of the 10th Amendment:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
The States have the legitimate power to secure the public health; this is without controversy. However, States secure the public health by licensing medical professionals, not government officials. Medical professionals, in turn, secure the public health by advising us on our medical options for our medical and healthcare needs. They do not provide draconian rule over our health decisions. We the People… make our own decisions about our own health needs. We don’t need government officials making decisions for us.
Failure to Follow Good Medicine
The Dr. Fauci’s of the world have focused attention on ‘gain of function’ research that leads to improved vaccinations. This symbiotic relationship has not only led to the Covid 19 pandemic, it has led to ‘tunnel vision’ where the only option for us is a vaccine; other options are ignored. Such is the case of natural immunity, which includes protective immunity. And when people with natural/protective immunity donate whole blood, plasma will contain the same, and plasma transfusions can provide both natural immunity and protective immunity for people without a vaccine or previous infection.
When the primary onset of infection occurs (with Covid 19 or other viruses), the body produces B cells and T cells (B/T cells) that in turn produces antibodies. These antibodies in turn fight off the infection and ward off future infections. However, these antibodies do not last beyond 90-125 days on average. This is where the B/T cells continue to provide us protection against future infections.
When the human body gets reinfected after the 90—125 day period, after having been initially infected, the B/T cells that are still in the body last from 6 -12 months (a year) beyond primary infection. As such, these B/T cells produce new antibodies, according to the pattern that originally produced the initial antibodies. This then provides a protective immunity far beyond that of the initial antibody duration.
The B cells that reside in the blood, along with antibodies produces by the B/T cells, may be found in blood plasma that can be used to provide people, without a vaccination or an initial infection, with both natural immunity and protective immunity. The duration of both is set from the onset of the primary infection of the blood donor. As such, plasma transfusions will provide for protective immunity up to a year in some cases. Yet this is ignored by the medical and health communities as they focus only on vaccinations.
The ability of the body to provide protective immunity should also occur for those who have vaccinated immunity. And the ability to provide B cells and antibodies in blood plasma transfusions should also be available in plasma derived from those who have been vaccinated. Having to get revaccinated provides for a level of protective immunity but it is redundant when one already has protective immunity due to either getting sick with Covid 19 or having taken the vaccination against it beforehand.
These facts are largely ignored by the medical community and little reported by the media. We can have options to the required vaccines that the Federal Government is pushing on federal employees. It is redundant to take a vaccine after one has already taken it and it isn’t necessary to take it after having initially been infected by the virus and one has natural/protective immunity. In both situations, the body already has protective immunity. We don’t need another vaccine shot to provide for more protection. This is true for those who may chose to take a plasma transfusion without ever getting vaccinated or sick with Covid 19.
Failure to Follow DoD Guidance
The DoD (Department of Defense) has issued recent guidance that all DoD (aka federal) employees will fill out a form (DD3150) to indicate whether or not they have taken the vaccine. If they won’t take it, then they have to take a weekly PCR test that is facilitated by the Federal Government and paid for by the Federal Government. If this guidance isn’t followed, then one may lose their ability to do work (have the CAC card removed) or actually lose their job.
However, the buzz about town is that the exceptions are being removed and new guidance form lessor officials (those in lower management offices) is that you either show proof of vaccination or lose your job.
I have a job with the federal government and I read the DoD guidance and wrote to my supervisor that I would follow the DoD guidance. But in light of recent information (buzz) it appears we won’t be given the option to secure our own medical health needs but have it secured for us by someone else or lose our jobs. This is a problem in that we have responsibilities that we don’t have to concede to the Federal Government as they belong to us – We The People. Having options that puts a weekly swab up our nose isn’t pleasant, but it’s better than the new option of getting vaccinated or get fired.
Failure to Support Individual Liberties
The Patriot’s Dream that built our nation was the Freedom To Do What Is Right! The genius that built our nation was Liberty Under Law. We have individual liberties and responsibilities that the government is supposed to protect and support. However, the recent crop of politicians in Washington D.C. have decided to dismiss our liberties as they take liberties with the Constitution to establish unconstitutional centralist control over our healthcare decisions.
Rights and Responsibilities do connect and should agree. We have the freedom to do what is right but not the freedom to do whatever we damn well please. Unfortunately, people like A. Swartz… has decided for us all that as we have both rights and responsibilities they should step on those rights and establish a centralized power to force us to get vaccinated. However, the whole purpose of the Constitution was to provide for limited government that respected individual liberties, not step all over them.
The medical community respects our individual freedoms to make our own informed choices about our own health needs. They, however, should do no harm according to the Hippocratic Oath. Forcing people to take a vaccine they feel may do more harm than good is not supposed to be a part of the medical profession. Forcing people to follow government edicts through the agency of medicine, empowered by government fiat, is doing harm to the public health and not securing it.
Conclusion
I cannot in good conscience take the Covid vaccines. I already have natural and protective immunity so I don’t need them for further protection; and I consider the vaccine to be a risk to my personal health. I have taken a tetanus booster shot (Tdap - a vaccine booster) as I’ve had a long history of taking this vaccine since I was young. However, they provided me with a list of possible side effects of this vaccine booster that included Lock Jaw. I dismissed the risk and took the shot anyway. I’m not anti-vaccine. But where is the list of possible risks we face if/when we take the Covid vaccine? They don’t provide that list for you because they have already made up your mind for you.
We need to understand that it is right and responsible to take or to not take the vaccine. They are both based upon the same risk venture. But what is even more risky is having someone in the government (a government official not a medical professional) tell us what we’re going to do with our personal healthcare decisions and needs.
We are witnessing ‘one will’ for our entire nation coming from the White House, similar to the ‘one will’ of the Nazi Fuhrer. As Mr. Biden is America’s Fuhrer from the national socialist (democrat) party, the Nazi’s throughout America should wear a swastika on their brown shirt sleeve. And the rest of us might as well put a Star of David on our shirts declaring that we are unvaccinated (regardless of whether we have natural/protective immunity or not) as we stand up for our individual freedoms.
